Caiazzo Issues Certificate for Transferred and Enhanced Signatures on Beatles Album

Carefully study the images below.  Frank Caiazzo admitted under deposition that he authenticated a Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Album where the signatures were transferred from an autograph page to the gatefold of the album.  He testified that in his opinion it is acceptable as long as you disclose the information on the certificate.  The following is an example of another piece where the signatures were transferred from two items - a menu and a clip - and then placed on a Please Please Me Beatles record album, which was then offered at auction as an original signed Beatles album.  Frank Caiazzo issued an April 12, 2005 certificate of authenticity which he testified to on November 13, 2009, could have been issued for this specific album.  This certificate did not disclose this information prior to the sale.  The certificate also provides puported provenance of the album.  A commentary on each image is below.

This image shows both a menu signed by Ringo Starr, John Lennon and George Harrison as well as a clip signed by Paul McCartney. These are how the signatures actually appeared.  Notice how dull they are.

The menu was  offered at a Bonhams auction and did not sell.  This image is directly from the auction listing.

The signatures were removed from the original signed items and placed on this Beatles Please Please Me album.  Notice how clear and defined they become once transferred.

The April 12, 2005, Certificate of Authenticity issued but Frank Caiazzo is for a Please Please Me signed album.  Again, he does not disclose that any work was done on the signature, and what is even more disturbing is that he gives an exact date and provenance for piece, saying that the signatures were obtained by a girl who waited at the back entrance of the Imperial Ballroom after a Beatles concert.  Please read this certificate.  Again, according to Mr. Caiazzo, his April 12, 2005, certificate could have been issued for the Please Please Me album discussed above.

The item was then offered for sale on E-Bay.
